Podcast 2  |  November 22, 2016

November 22, 2016 Our Defending Fathers with Guest author, J.B. Williams - Brian Sommerfield Randy Bishop

YDF (Your Defending Fathers hosts): Brian Summerfield and “Trucker” Randy, Your Defending Fathers. Thanks for joining us on this Tuesday. We are joined by J.B. Williams. He is the author of the new book, TRUMPED: The New American Revolution. I have the brand-new copy in my hands, right now as we speak, and I’m totally enjoying it. J.B., I told you privately that you did a great job writing this. It’s an easy read, and really does a great job of summarizing the last 12 to 18 months of what’s happening in the United States. He’s also with North American Law Center. We’ve got him here during this segment.

Got a Facebook comment during the break for you, J.B. One of our patriot brothers listens to the show on a regular basis and says

“Ask J.B.: does he think the Trump administration would be wise to fire all the federal prosecutors in the same fashion as what he did when he took office, back in 1993?”

JB (J.B. Williams): I honestly don’t know. I don’t know all the federal prosecutors are, I don’t know what the circumstances are. In time, I suspect there will be a housecleaning. Some of them will probably resign on their own accord, under the new administration, I would suspect. The thing is, it’s like all the different meetings that Trump’s been having and the Media has been speculating, who he is going to appoint to what post within his Cabinet. All that speculation has not been any more accurate than they were in guessing who was going to win the election. He’s shocking people with some of his picks and I suspect that will continue to happen. But Donald Trump, as a person—yes, he has an ego and that doesn’t bother me. The upside of someone like a Donald Trump, is they are determined to succeed at whatever it is they are doing. He has stepped into a place here that not very many people would want to step into. His legacy, prior to running for President was that of a great entrepreneur, who raised a great family that continued on his legacy. Now, his legacy is going to be whatever he does as President of the United States. What he did before, isn’t going to matter at all. So I suspect he’s going to do whatever he has to do to succeed—at what he set out to do and what he promised to do. And that’s the best he can to make America great again. Well, you can’t do that without enforcing the rule of law, with Constitutional principles and values at the federal level, all the way down to the local level. And that’s a major task at this point in American history, since it’s been so convoluted. I expect he’ll do the best he can to make that happen.

I was asked a couple days ago how I felt—what if he named Mitt Romney as Secretary of State? I said, “I would not personally nominate Mitt Romney, but I’m not President. If he chooses Mitt Romney, I’m going to assume, at the moment, that he had very good reasons for doing that. I’ll wait to see what those reasons are, and make an assessment about whether or not I think he made a good choice. People voted for this guy, in part, because he’s not easily micro-managed. He has a mind of his own, an agenda of his own, he laid it out, he got elected on that basis—and people who think they can armchair quarterback this guy are probably mistaken.

YDF: Well, another point on that vein, is he has reached out to a lot of the military folks, some of which were forced to resign or asked to step down, under Obama, because they were standing up to Obama. He’s bringing these people back in. Flynn, “Mad Dog” Mattis, potentially being Secretary of Defense—does this show you kind of his thought process, that almost every single level of these departments and these cabinet positions, to bring in the best and the brightest that won’t stand down to him—much like they did to Obama, but they got forced out of their careers because of it. Trump is going to embrace that kind of activity, do you think?

JB: I think so. I think Trump has a long history of surrounding himself with people who can make things happen. And he has a long history of getting rid of people who can’t. I think he’s going to do the best he can to surround himself with people who make things happen, and I think he’s going to tell THEM what the agenda is, and it’s up to them to agree that they can carry out that agenda successfully. If they can, it will be a success and it they can’t, they will be gone. We’re going to be seeing “Your fired!” again in a little while, probably. He’s a guy who is serious about what he wants to do, I think he’s going to reach across the aisle. Like Tulsi Gabbard. They don’t have to agree with everything, they just need to agree on the thing he assigns them. That’s how I think he will probably build a successful cabinet.

Two things hit me with the appointments we’ve seen, so far: One, everybody he’s picked is 180 degrees from the people that they are replacing, ideologically. That doesn’t mean 100% ideologically aligned with Trump–but ideologically opposite of the dirtbags that’s holding office right at the moment. That’s a good thing, whether it’s “Mad Dog” Mattis, or Flynn, or whoever. They tend to be very “no nonsense” type of people. Trump is a very no-nonsense type of person. I expect that trend will continue.

I think that’s why it’s making people nervous. You asked me why that story came out on Tuesday (November 22nd), well, yesterday, that was a question asked by members of the press that were called to that meeting at Trump Tower, where he basically LAMBLASTED the entire media propaganda machine for being liars and crooks and being part of the deception against Americans. So, it was supposed to be an off-the-record meeting, but here we are this morning coming out from a question asked during that meeting. (Laughs…)

By the way, if you listen closely to what Kellyanne said this morning, she said, “Trump is not going to pursue it” (Criminal investigations.) Trump isn’t supposed to pursue it. The DOJ is supposed to pursue it. I think that’s exactly what we’ll see happen.

YDF: The previous comment came in the second hour, where he has plumbing experience, this individual says very simply, a plumber…where he says if you’re going to drain the swamp, if you’re looking at a standing sink, you don’t drill holes in the side of the sink, you’ll pull the plug on the bottom and when that centrifugal force starts going around, it’s going to suck out everybody. We’re going to see some Republicans that are going to be exposed…in Mike Rogers, his wife being the head of the Council of Security in Benghazi, we’re going to see a lot of these people, if and when they go after the Clinton Foundation, or the emails of Hillary on her private server, this could actually end up bringing some Republicans down with them, too.

JB: I would agree with that. In fact, I would say that if we follow the evidence of all of these investigations to their natural conclusion, it will absolutely bring down people on both sides of the aisle. To some degree, I would caution this: When corruption has been allowed to be as pervasive as it has been under the last administration, once you start tugging—it’s like a sweater that’s got a pick in it, and you think you’re going to fix it before you get to the dinner party and you start to pull at the pick and the next thing you know, the whole sweater is laying on the floor in a ball of yarn. And the same thing can happen here. There has been so much corruption, and it has reached across both sides of the aisle, but if you just stand there and pull on that string, there’s gonna be no sweater left.

I would anticipate that they are going to be a little bit careful, as to the speed and the direction in which they move with this so they an keep a functioning government and the top of these things accountable.

In the old days, you used to go to the low-hanging fruit, and work your way up on some of these prosecutions, but that’s not that’s not what needs to happen this time. It needs to go right to the head that’s responsible for all this, and that would include of course, both the Clintons, Barack and Michele Obama,  and include Loretta Lynch and include Comey and include a lot of people.

If you’re going to really clean up what’s going on in DC, the corruption, this time they’re going to have to the heads of the corruption to get there.

YDF: Thank you for coming on today. I want to give you a chance to talk about your book and how they can get it.

JB: Thanks, I appreciate that. It’s TRUMPED: The New American Revolution. It’s on Amazon, Kindle and also available at the publisher’s website at COFBooks.com. It’s the only book out there with 100% five star ratings!
